Itinerary
Day 1, Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a delicious breakfast, you'll depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its stunning baobab trees and large elephant herds. The scenic drive will take you through the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania, providing glimpses of local life along the way. Upon arrival at Tarangire, embark on an exciting game drive to explore the park's diverse habitats and wildlife. Keep your camera ready as you search for lions, leopards, giraffes, and more amidst the savannah and acacia woodlands. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the park's natural beauty before continuing your safari adventure. In the afternoon, you'll have more opportunities to spot wildlife as you traverse Tarangire's expansive plains. As the day draws to a close, head to your accommodation for dinner and a well-deserved rest as you reflect on the day's adventures. Day 2, Tarangire to Serengeti NP
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge. On the way to Serengeti, you will pass by the Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy the crater view before heading to your destination. The name Serengeti originates from the Maasai word Siringitu which means endless plains. You will see why the Maasai gave this region this name as the grassland savannah stretches to the horizon in the South and is only interrupted by the so-called kopjes. These kopjes are bizarre rock formations formed by the weathering of granite outcrops. The plains are the perfect hunting grounds for leopards and other big cats. You will have an excellent chance to view these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat through the open roof of the vehicle. In the afternoon, you will have a standard home meal and then, later on, arrive at your destination for the day. Day 3, Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, you will continue the game drive through the Serengeti National Park. You will see hundreds of wildebeests and zebras, lions, and other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs, in the Seronera Valley. Take a break in your day by enjoying lunch with us in Serengeti National Park. After lunch, you will proceed and then head for a transfer game drive to Ngorongoro Highlands and exit heading to your lodge in Ngorongoro. If you are interested in the Maasai culture, you can visit the Maasai village. You will love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we exit the park with different views of wildlife. Day 4, Ngorongoro crater then Arusha/Airport
Wake up to the bird calls meaning another day in the wild side of Africa and begin the day with a morning game drive in the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, tracing the Big Five wild animals until lunch break. The crater's unique ecosystem offers excellent opportunities to spot various wildlife, including rare and endangered rhinos and leopards. Be prepared for unforgettable encounters with various animals roaming freely in this natural wonder. As the day draws to a close, transfer game drive as you exit the crater and drive back to Arusha or Airport for your departure.
